We've been out of touch up in cape tribulation. Amazing area and snorkel trip on the ocean safari there.

But first, the tablelands were lovely, and a real highlight for us. Our 2 days there were not quite enough time, but I'm happy we spent the time there. Loved the kangaroos on mareeba golfcourse. We saw 5' in the trees. Pay $2.50 each to gain access. They are located along the tree line. Even hopped along , what a thrill for this american.

Say a prayer for the parents who died two days ago snorkeling off the west coast of australia, leaving two children behind on the beach. Our daughter contributed to her craft blog site, for modern quilting, so has corresponded with her several times. Its like a loss in her family. So very sad.

We have returned from our amazing journey! Australia is a treasure, trip report to follow i hope!
