Auckland - Quay West Suites question

I just saw that the QW has 2 bedroom suites, which would be good for 2 couples. Anyone with recent experience with QW? There is no info on QW either on Fodors or Frommers. Some info on tripadvisor.
Anyone stay at Hyatt 2 BR suites? Other recommendations for 2BR suites? ((f))

We stayed at the New President in Auckland, which is just off Queen Street in the heart of downtown.

They upgraded us from a studio to a 2-bedroom suite. Since it was our last night in NZ, it was really nice to have the extra room to spread out our stuff and repack.

The suite was fine; everything was clean and in good condition. It has a full kitchen, which was great for fixing dinner and breakfast, as well as a washer and dryer.

The only drawback is the hot water heater in the small bathroom only gives you about 15 minutes' worth of hot water, but if you space your showers out it won't be a problem.

sebel viaduct harbor is modern, right on the water and suites have great views. i am sure they will be more expensive than qw, so it depends on how important little details are to you.
the hyatt is not very well located compared to the other choices if you are a first time visitor to auckland. if you have a car and know your way around it won't matter much. also the hyatt is quite old by comparison the last time i investigated.

We stated in a 2BR suite at Quay West exactly two years ago and were very happy with it. The 2nd bedroom was set up with twin beds but you could probably ask for a double as well if you want. The rooms were a good size, 2 proper bedrooms, separate lounge and a kitchenette. Furnishings whilst not spectacular were fine and the swimming pool area downstairs was lovely. A couple of the staff were absolute dimwits but that can happen anywhere. When I complained about a problem with our bill, the manager came out and immediately fixed up the problem.

To answer my questiom, we stayed at QW, had a 2 BR, 2 bath apt. (It was important to get 2 bath.) It was great, and I would recommend it to others in the same situation.
