Please comment on which would the best hotel in Auckland for cleanliness, location, quietness and charm.

We 2 couples had a 2BR, 2BA suite at Quay West, and loved it. It was clean and the location was great. We were on the 21st floor, but heard some minimal noise. I'm not sure about the charm, being a large hotel. ((*))

I've stayed at the Crowne Plaza, and would absolutely stay there again.

It's a large modern business hotel, so it's not super charming, and it's not the Ritz Carlton or anything, but the location was great (next to Sky City) and it was a good value imho.

ps: I found the Crowne Plaza quiet and very clean. And I could see the people riding in the big bungee chair from my window, which could be either a plus or minus, I guess. But there was no noise from it.
