Atherton Tablelands VS Kuranda

Hi,

I will be spending 5 days in Cairns, and doing these day tours - Great Barrier Reef, Daintree, and Chillagoe Caves. Also doing Hot Air Balloon on the last morning. Now for one remaining day would you suggest Atherton Tablelands or Kuranda Scenic Train and Skyrail? I'm confused, so any suggestions welcome! Thanks in advance!!

We had a great one day trip around the Tablelands about ten years ago. It whetted our appetite for a return visit over a longer time, part of which we have done.
We have been to Kuranda, and for us it was all about the train trips, although we did enjoy the butterfly enclosure and bird enclosure. My choice.? Atherton Tablelands

Kuranda is on the Atherton Tablelands. It's pretty touristy. If you can spare the time, it would be well worth seeing more of the Tableland area.
