Has anyone used APT (Australian Pacific Touring) for day tours? Is it best to buy the 4 ticket pass? Thanks in advance!

I didn't use them for a day tour - did a 2 day Red Centre tour (started in Alice, left out of Ayers Rock). In terms of the company/bus - I liked them, but I don't have anything to compare them with (1st escorted thing I've ever done).

It is nice to hear that you had a good experience. Thanks for your reply!

We have also used them for longer tours and are due to take another one with them Darwin/Broome later in the year. We have found them to be excellent - very informative guides, comfortable coaches, good accomodation etc. So I would imagine their day tours would be of the same standard.

Memories,

APT has been around for a number of years and are very very reputable. If you're going to go on a motorcoach, you can't go wrong with them.

Depending on the number of tours you plan on taking, their Pass is a very good way to go; just determine how many tours you plan on taking (escorted) and you can figure out if it's worth it to you to purchase a Pass - 4 complete day tours usually works out to be better than individually purchased.

For example, even if you figure $50-$60 x 4 (and those are the low end) the Pass works out to be a better deal.
