Apartment Hotel for 6 in Sydney?
I've been doing a little research for our five night stay in May in Sydney (part of a longer trip)
I'd love opinions from Fodorites on the Waldorf Apartments or one of the Mertin properties. The TripAdvisor reviews seem great. Thanks |
Oh yes, the place should be near the city or Darling Harbour. What do you think of the Quay?

Friends stayed in Meriton World Tower last year and found it very satisfactory & well located. It's not far from Darling Harbour - probably 5-10 mins walk

It seems that Grand Mercure and Medina Grand can not hold six people.
Meriton World Tower seems wonderful. Is it really only about a 10 minute walk to Darling Harbour? Do you know what the neighborhood near it is? What's a little complicated is that the first two nights it will only be me and hubs -- (that's when the three bedrooms average over $550 a night.) Once the rest grandparents and kids arrive the rates go down to a very manageable $295) I wonder if they have a one bedroom that attaches to a two bedroom that we could add later. Does anyone know about that? Waldorf Apartments have great TripAdvisor ratings. However, I worry about the quality. Thoughts? Of course, please offer your opinion if you think that I am going in the wrong direction and should focus on regular hotels instead. Thanks, |
