Any advice on purchase of cheap BUSINESS CLASS ticket to Sydney?

I would really like to visit Sydney but the thought of being trapped in a small cramped economy class seat for 15 hours has discouraged me from going.

Is there any organizations (travel agents) that would sell us a BUSINESS CLASS ticket from LA for a discount from the airline price? I think we could manage spending $1200 additional for the RT ticket over the economy class fare. Would would be the lowest price BUSINESS CLASS fare from LAX to Sydney if we were completely flexible on travel dates? Thanks!

I can't help - but honest - if you want to visit badly enough just bite the bullet and fly economy. You know - you get on one end and you get off the other - you survive!!

Or you could buy two economy seats if you are a large person - last time I flew intercontinental the guy next to me was very tall (very slender, but very tall) and I did feel for him.

Or take a stopover at one of the Pacific Islands and/or New Zealand.

Try the following sites:

www.biztravels.com

www.flyfirstclass.com

For whatever they offer, be certain they are providing a paid ticket, and not an award ticket (people selling their miles - this is illegal.)

Good luck!

Travdis,

As an agent, the only air I do these days is international -- mostly for my European clients. I work with a consolidator and get rates that beat (for the most part) anything on the internet. I haven't done this for business class, but I know it exists. Call a travel agent, ask them if they work with a ticket consolidator who does Business Class tickets to Australia.

Hope this helps!
