Air Passes in French Polynesia

This is my first post, so forgive me if I don't follow the site's posting etiquette...

I have read in some of my books that there is something called an "Air Pass" for these islands. We are going in June for our honeymoon, and I was interested in finding out more information to see if this is the most economical option for island-hopping.
We are staying on Moorea, Huahine & Bora Bora. We fly into Tahiti from the US.

Thanks for your help!

Air Tahiti sells a Polynesia Air Pass that should save you some money over the separate flights. We ended up buying ours in Papeete after we arrived. I don't know if things have changed, but a couple of years ago they required passport-size photos to laminate onto the air pass, and we had to go frantically searching for someone to make photos for us quickly. You might want to bring a couple of spare photos with you.

Alf,
Thanks for the information. We'll take some photos with us!

Do you know if it's possible to get the passes in advance? If so, does that save any money?

Also... I'm assuming that Air Tahiti is the same as Air Tahiti Nui. Is that correct?

No, Air Tahiti and Air Tahiti Nui are different airlines.
