Air New Zealand sent me a we’re opening up email!
 
Just got an email from Air New Zealand with a promise I’ll be able to start using my miles soon! Hope it’s true and can’t wait!!!

Unless you are a Kiwi stuck overseas, I wouldn’t hold your breath! Even though the NZ gov appear to be abandoning its zero covid policy, I think it will be quite some time before they allow foreign nationals entry and, even then , it will likely be on a very selective basis.
