Abyss in August
 
Absolutely freezing but still worth the experience or absolutely freezing and will just be too cold to enjoy?

I was asking if the Abyss Blackwater adventure in Waitomo is going to be cold in August to actualy enjoy it. Sorry for the confusion

Yep, it's gonna be cold.

Average water temps are 10-14c.

You'll be wearing a wetsuit, and when you're done you can take a nice hot shower, then enjoy hot soup and bagels at the cafe. You'll be fine. :-)
