Abel Tasman National Park
Just posted some photos and detail of our day out hiking in Abel Tasman National Park last year on our blog.
https://accidentalnomads.com/2016/09...national-park/ What a terrific place! Can't wait to return for a longer trip in the area. |
Is the link correct?
Look forward to reading it. It's been said on the forum that ATNP is under rated but if you like to get away to the beach and bush it's a beautiful place. Anyway it won't be too crowded if the less than enthusiastic stay away! |
Thanks for pointing out the problem with the link tasmangirl. I inadvertently made it a private post. Oops! Should work now.

Oh no it doesn't! This should be ok

Awesome photos!
Glad you enjoyed a beautiful part of New Zealand. |
Lovely photos, thank you for sharing!

yes, I enjoyed reading about your tramp which we did about 3 years ago though in rather warmer weather which I think made it less pleasant.
I also "dropped into" your piece about Oamaru which was one of the highlights of our trip, mainly because of the little blue penguins that come ashore at night and waddle about in the most charming way. We too were put off by the charge for the "experience" but having been told by people in our hotel where to see them, we just went down to the beach and waited. And there they were, coming ashore at dusk and chattering to themselves as they went. We also loved the victorian architecture, the public gardens, the opera house and the great meal we had there too. I love your website - so nicely laid out and beautiful photos - thanks for sharing them. |
Your pictures are fantastic!

Thank you. Glad you like the photos and our blog. I need to get the rest of the entries posted, but am busy working on our current trip around South America.
A couple of months ago I got an email from Maui telling me that it was a year since we rented a campervan from them. Very tempting!!! |
