A week in Fiji
 

I'm travelling alone and have a week stopover in Fiji on the way to New Zealand. I arrive very early on a morning in October 2016. I would appreciate your ideas on two or three top destinations and doable things in a week. I enjoy scuba, views, walking, beaches, meeting people.

A full week? Will you fly in and out of Nadi? There are lots of spots between Nadi and Suva that might do it for you. See www.fiji.travel/au/destinations/coral-coast for example.

There are buses (express) from outside the Nadi terminal - just ask and somebody will show you. Don't worry about looking up a timetable, they all run (like everything else in Fiji) on "island time".
