8 night in bora or 6 in bora and 2 in huanine?

We reserved 8 night in bora bora at meridien, maybe is better to stay onli 6 and 2 in Huanine. What do you think about this? We are in dubius about huanine......

By all accounts Huahine is lovely. It will also be a bit cheaper than Bora Bora. I would do the split.

I would definitely go to Huahine - it is so much more laid back than Bora Bora, which (IMO) is a bit too developed.

My opinion is that I'd take Huahine over Tahiti, Moorea, or Bora Bora. Huahine is a pretty unpopulated island, very lush, very green, very exotic without a lot of people or commercialization. The resorts tend to be small and intimate, the people friendly and warm. The town of Fare has a large amount of religious ruins, and horseback or 4x4 tours are available. Great snorkeling, scuba and surfing.

Huahine definitely deserves more than 2 nights, especially if you're staying at Te Tiare. I would recommend purchasing the modified American Meal Plan (breakfast and dinner)from your hotel since the resorts are pretty much the only game in town.

My husband and I honeymooned at the Le Meridien and it was well worth every penny. Especially for the OW Bungalow. You will be able to do probably everything you would like to do in 6 days in Bora Bora. We had four days only wishing we had taken in the shark feeding excursion. Not that we wouldn't have loved more days in Bora Bora...but we will go back someday.

I recommend the Meal Plan (Breakfast and Dinner) at the Meridien. The food was excellent and I was worried before going as I am a picky eater. We had the choice to do a la carte or the buffet. I also recommend a 4X4 excursion of the island. That was the best way to see the breathtaking scenery. And what a roller coaster ride! We also rented bikes and road around the island one day. Take in dinner at Bloody Mary's. Le Meridien had Polynesian shows on the beach at the resort which was nice. Great snorkeling at the resort in the lagoon. You will love your stay at the Meridien on Bora Bora, but I would also take in another island. We stayed at the Sheraton in Moorea and enjoyed it as well, but we compare every vacation to Bora Bora. Enjoy!
