Turning 40 this year. Looking for some suggestions eg: 4 days on barrier reef island, jet boating in New Zealand, climb the rock??? Open to suggestions, adventure getaway or luxury retreat whatever

just kidding. do what i did for my pre, pre pre 40 birthday celebration: go to samoa and sleep in a hut on the beach.

Hey There, I don't know what is right for you.. but I am turning 40 in September and what I am planning for the big day is as follows: wake up in an Australian rain forest luxury resort (Silky Oaks).. take a hike, spend 5 hours or so having ridiculously indulgent spa treatments, a 5 star meal, then take a helicopter tour over the Great Barrier Reef.. I've already booked this trip.. and believe me, I can't wait to turn 40! The lipo and botox will have to wait until I get home :)...

Birthday is in August. I think I would like to take another couple of freinds. One friend had suggested hiring a DC3 and flying to King Island for lunch. Sounds OK, I think I want something with a bit more adventure. I'm a luxury girl, my camping under the stars days have passed. Thyra 40th sounds cool. I'd love suggestions!
