2 nights in Kakadu

In our first itinerary for our next trip in August to Australia, we skipped Kakadu for lack of days, but finally we have managed to obtain 2 nights (yes I know… it deserves at least one week!).

Do you think this plan is doable for this so short time?

· Day 1
Flight arriving at 12:30 h. to Darwin
Drive to Jabiru
Bowali Visitor Centre
Night: Kakadu Lodge

· Day 2
Jabiru – Ubirr – Cahill’s Crossing – Nadab Looukout - Guluyambi Cultural Cruise
Nawurlandja Lookout?
Nourlangie?
Night: Cooinda Lodge

· Day 3
Yellow Water (06:45 h.)
Flight from Darwin Airport to Alice Springs at 14:30 h.

Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help!

It will be rushed but doable. Will you have time on your first afternoon to visit Oberi? And on your second day, I'd give Nourlangie preference over the other places. The aboriginal artwork in Oberi and Nourlangie are fantastic. You could check in advance for ranger walks in both places - from memory these were free. You can walk through both areas by yourself but the talks by the rangers add to the experience.

Thank you marg!
Sorry for the question, but... I can't find Oberi... is the same place as Ubirr?
On the other hand, do you have any feedback about the Guluyambi Cultural Cruise? Is good idea to do both cruises, Yellow Water and Guluyambi?

Thanks again!

We've been to Kakadu a few times so have done the Yellow Waters cruise and the one on the East Alligator river which I think could be the Guluyambi cruise. The Yellow Waters cruise wins hands down - so much more to see. Different types of cruises. With Yellow Waters, you'll see lots and lots of birds, usually lots of crocodiles on open waters. The other cruise is more about the aboriginal connection to Kakadu. If I had to choose one, it would be Yellow Waters.

As far as I'm aware, Oberi and Ubirr are the same place.
