1 day scenic tour from Gold coast

In Australia for first time and visited Melb, Sydney and now in Gold Coast

We enjoyed a 2 night stay in Blue mountains and now looking for advise on a 1 day SCENIC/Natural beauty visit /tour around Gold Coast

The choices in my mind are
Coolangata
Tambourine mountain
My coottha
Moreton bay
Scenic rim

Or any other

Your feedback would be very helpful as always

Thanks

We did a trip to the Lamington National Park. The rainforest and birds were amazing. Decide if you want to see more beaches or something of the 'hinterland' which is the rainforest part behind the Gold Coast.
Of your list I would pick Tamborine mountain.
Coolangatta is much the same as the GC but without so many high rise buildings.
Mt Cootha would be bottom of my list. It was good but it's a city view and I'd rather see nature/scenery any day.

Mt Tamborine or Lamington would be my choices. At Tamborine there is spectacular scenery, lots of interesting little shops, lots of choices for lunch. Lamington and Springbrook are great if you want to do some long walks. Both are very pleasant drives from the Gold Coast.
Coolangatta is just another part of the Gold Coast, Mt Cootha is a long drive away partly through Brisbane CBD and suburbs.

Gold Coast’s things to-do list is nearly endless. With so much to see and do, here are some things you can do or see on the Gold Coast,
1. Explore the Hinterland
2. Go up the SkyPoint Deck atop the Q1 Building
3. Visit Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
4. Visit a Theme Park or go to the beach

I pick Lamington and Mt. Tambourine.

From the Gold Coast you could easily take a short trip to North Stradbroke Island. It's not flashy in any way, very unpretentious, but a good antidote to the Gold Coast. Or another vote for the Gold Coast Hinterland. I remember there is somewhere a 'bottomless' lake there, and you can picnic nearby. Sorry I can't remember the name, it's been a while. Currumbin is also worth a visit.
