I want to know your top 5 favorite cities in Asia?

For me :
1 Bangkok
2 Hong Kong
3 Tokyo
4 Luang Prabang
5 Hanoi

I guess it depends on your definition of a city... I love LP, but I consider it a small town, not a city.

My favorite cities, in alphabetical order:

Bangkok
Hong Kong
Hanoi
Kathmandu
Kuching

Also in alphabetical order:
Bangkok
Hong Kong
Kyoto
New Delhi
Tokyo

For me:

Hong Kong
Chiang Mai
Saigon
Luang Prabang
Kuala Lumpur

If we rule out Luang Prabang as being a town, then Singapore would be the fifth.

I look at these from the point of living in them rather than visiting.

1-Yangon/Rangoon
2- Luang Prabang
3-Bangkok
4-Kuala Lumpur
5- Sabah

Listed in order of how much I enjoyed visiting.

I meant Sandakan in Sabah.

I truly cannot think of any that I did not really and truly enjoy. With the exception of Medan. Surprised no one mentioned Penang. I guess that is technically not a city..
