your opinion

I am planning on going to Asia to teach for a year or two. In your opinion what country/city in Asia would you suggest I start my adventure.
thanks in advance for your response

Wow, that's some way over-broad query, ccrb!

Tell your pals here a bit about yourself, what interests you, what kind of traveler you are (experienced? an adventurer? a naive little thing who's never been anywhere? a lover of beaches? temples? mysterious backwaters?). Do you have a fantasy of somewhere you've always dreamed of seeing?

Kind of travelers? I would think as an adventurer with plenty of experience.
Like all of the above but overall getting to experience of a country. I understand it is a broad question but I may have the option with any country in need of teachers in Asia but not sure where to put my efforts. I have taken several of your advices given in this forum so I am trusting your opinions to start somewhere.

I personally know people who have taught English in China and Thailand. Both have been rewarding experiences. I think you would want a place with good infrastructure, good health care, decent living quarters, etc. Thailand would be my own personal choice, but then I am one of the regulars to BKK from this forum.

Japan. Just do it.

To me, the country would be secondary to the quality of the teaching position, living arrangements, safety, and the school in which you would be teaching.

Can you narrow down the list of countries? "Asia" encompasses too much.
