Women groups in Shanghai
 

I've been wondering if there are any women groups or women with childrens group here in Shanghai? I am a mother of 2 kids and We are new here in Shanghai. I want to meet new people and start making friends.

The American Women's Association has a branch in Shangahi. I belong to the AWA in Hong Kong and also was a member of the Singapore branch, and a similar organization in Zurich. I find them useful and fun. In addition to advice on living in a city/country, they have language classes, cooking classes, workshops and sponsor good trips. There websites usually have a board where you can post questions also. You do not have to be a US citizen to join.
