Thanks for that, Kathie. I've not been to any of the ones in the article, but I have been a Wine Loft (I think that's the name) a few years ago, soi 41 or 43, something like that. It was nice! Great wine and good finger foods. I don't know if it is still there or not.

Then you have places like V9, but a little more exclusive (expensive) than SIP sounds. Love those Italian reds!

Kathie,

You might be interested to know that one of my favorite restaurant and wine importer, The Water Library, will be opening up a "branch" in Bagan soon. Their specialty is American wines with several wine dinners held every year. Bagan will soon have a restaurant they can brag about!

Really?! We'll have to go back!

I was just pleased to see more wine bars in Bangkok, for those of us who love wine and have a bit of wine withdrawal in Bangkok.

Yes, we found the wine prices at the Le Planteur in Yangon to be quite reasonable.
