Thanks for that, Kathie. I've not been to any of the ones in the article, but I have been a Wine Loft (I think that's the name) a few years ago, soi 41 or 43, something like that. It was nice! Great wine and good finger foods. I don't know if it is still there or not.
Then you have places like V9, but a little more exclusive (expensive) than SIP sounds. Love those Italian reds! |

You might be interested to know that one of my favorite restaurant and wine importer, The Water Library, will be opening up a "branch" in Bagan soon. Their specialty is American wines with several wine dinners held every year. Bagan will soon have a restaurant they can brag about! |

I was just pleased to see more wine bars in Bangkok, for those of us who love wine and have a bit of wine withdrawal in Bangkok. |

Yes, we found the wine prices at the Le Planteur in Yangon to be quite reasonable.
