As my eyesight fades in my dotage, I continue to lie to myself. Honestly, I can't even acknowledge that my hair has gone grey. Self-deception is a beautiful thing. It's a rare form of dementia. I do note for the record that I have never appeared in court in anything but a suit and tie. My briefs are all written.
