Bonjour Matt,

For me it is the arts, architecture (ancient and modern), crafts, martial arts (kendo and sumo), food, and a culture that has retained much of its traditions, contrary to appearances.

In addition, the country is mostly safe and clean.

What I like about visiting Japan : Meeting my family and friends.

So, Matt, what is your idea about Japan?

I too have some family in Japan, through by Uncle, and would love to meet them. In reality, I have spent so much time studying Western Euro history and language that I thought it would be great to travel some Asian countries. I have always heard that Japan is great.

The food, especially kaiseki cuisine, especially if someone else is paying for it!
