Rebeca,
Are you wanting to do all three in 2 wks?

If that's the case,it is possible, but quite a bit for only 2 wks.

Maybe spend one wk. Thailand
( 1-2 days BKK/4-5 days northern or southern Thailand) and one wk. Maldives.
Really depends on what you want to do/see.

IMO, it will be difficult to do justice to all three places in just 2 weeks, as the Maldives is quite a distance from Hong Kong and Thailand. Does the 2 weeks include travel time to and from the US (where I assume you live?) If it does, then it will be even harder to see all three places, as you will lose about two days overall in transit.

You should also consider the time of year you are going, as Bangkok has a rainy season, and Hong Kong has a typhoon season, when both places are even hotter and wetter than the rest of the year. Typhoons can also be so strong that everything shuts down and you are forced to sit it out in your hotel. Late November through about mid-March are the best times to visit Hong Kong and Bangkok. The Maldives has two separate rainy seasons, although they get so little rain there that it is a bit relative. Take a look at weatherbase.com and worldlclimate.com for historical average temperatures and rainfall.

Finally, you need to consider what you want to do on this vacation. The Maldives is entirely about beaches and snorkelling/diving. There is very little of cultural interest and little shopping. Hong Kong is all about city life, culture, eating and shopping, as is Bangkok, although IMO Bangkok has more to offer in terms of cultural interest (esp. religion). If you want city, culture and shopping, but also need a beach, you could easily do the 2 weeks by going to Hong Kong, Bangkok and then a beach destination in Thailand, the east coast of Malaysia, or even Bali.

If you just want a beach and/or boat trips, then I think two weeks going around the Maldives would be great.

I agree with both of the above. Take a good look at a map. You can choose the Maldives or you can choose SE Asia. Hong Kong and Bangkok aren't that close together either, though some people use Hong Kong as a stop on the way to Bangkok and other destinations in Thailand.

To get from Bangkok to the Maldives you have to fly Sri Lankan to Colombo and change flights or route with Malaysia Airlines via KL or Singapore Airlines via SIN. I agree it would be a real rush in a couple of weeks.
perhaps a couple of days in HK and Bangkok and tghen head down to some nice island/beach area like Krabi/Koh Lanta ( Krabi is just a 1 hr flight from Bangkok ). You could try some resort such as the Pimalai on Koh Lanta.

The three locations are not a good bet to cover in 2 weeks. If you are into the beach, you can cover Sri Lanka and Maldives. Sri Lanka has beautiful beaches and it's worth a trip to Kandy where the mountains are too. People are known to spend 4 months straight there so you will have plenty to see in 2 weeks.
You can also cover Cambodia, Myanmar and Thailand by selecting only the cities you want to visit and flying between them because you only have two weeks. It'll be a little tight and you'd wish you had more time but the countries are a good proximity from each other.
If you are into trekking, visit Kota Kinabalu and scale the mountain. you can also dive in East Malaysia.
If you are into city/culture, Japan and Hong Kong will be great! Japan is good for 10 days to soak in the culture. Definitely visit Kyoto, Nara and do a proper night in a Ryokan. It's worth the money! Hong Kong will be good for food, shopping and partying!
