Those are great months for Delhi: sunny temperate days and cool nights, little or no rain. By Feb, some of the gardens will be starting to bloom. Locals will be quite bundled up on shawls and sweaters, esp at night. Outdoor restaurants will have charcol braziers by your table. Really a great time to be in India.

One thing you need to bear in mind in India is indoor and outdoor temps do NOT vary much. With the exception of the luxury hotels central heating is not common. So, you should dress in layers which you can shed easily and also not just carry heavy parkas as you would expecting to shed them as soon as you step indoors. In general this is the best time of the year and you will really enjoy it.

Thanks for the additional comments gentlemen. If I may I would like to share a story with you in this matter. We were in Delhi Dec. of 1997 and it was pretty chilly then. One of my fondest memories is watching cricket from the Sharja tournament late at night with my nephew and BIL. It was pretty cool at night in their house but I was sipping a Johnny Walker and learning the game from them and perhaps getting some of their enthusiam for it as well. I really enjoyed that. Cheers, Larry
