Weather in China
We're planning a trip and have noted the best tour prices are in November, December and January. However, the temp in January ranges from 20s to 30s mostly, and some 40s. Not much better in Nov and Dec.
Anyone been to China during these chilly months? What's it like then? Is there snow? Are the trees barren and ugly? Thanks Sue |
China is a very big country. If you're thinking Beijing and points north in Dec., I imagine it could be decidedly cold. However, I was in Yunnan province and Nanning in early November and it was very comfortable.

Try to go early November if possible.

Thanks.
We're starting to re-think this and may be willing to pay more and go in October. Sue |
Hi, I just returned from China. I think you will love Beijing. I've just got a Beijing guide book in English version. The name is Beijing travel guide, http://www.a4trip.com/china. It is brief but clear enough to make me plan for my journey before i go. There are detailed practical info about food ,accomodation ,travel ,wandering ,shopping ,entertainment and side trips of Beijing. The picture at here http://www.a4blog.com/2008/08/top-10...ns-in-beijing/ showed the Top 10 Must See Attractions in Beijing.
