We booked Poon, now what?
 

We booked Poon for a 6 hour day the day after arrive in CM. Our plans are to :
Friday-arrive CM,Thai massages
Saturday-Poon - ?
Sunday-?
We are going to spend 3 days at the Thai Elephant center near Lampang the following week, so what do we see and where do we shop?

First of all, say hi to Poon from Gloria and tell her I'll be back next January.

She is terrific at taking you to good places for shopping. Just tell her what you are looking for. She also knows where the good places are to watch craftsmen that don't have 20 tour buses.

You might have her drive you to Doi Suthep.

I envy you the 3 days at the Elephant Center. It is a fabulous place.

we spent 4 days, 3 nts with poon. tell her aloha from the 3 hawaii girls..
have poon take you to either the hilltribe areas or doi sutep and shopping areas outside of town.
poon will help you bargain so you do get over charged.

she is awesome and knows off the beaten path shopping places too.

If you are interested in natural beauty look into Doi Inthanon national park. We didn't have time to go there, but will next time. We had read about it (and seen photos on the web) and Poon also said it is worthwhile.
