any of you out there who travel to aisa, and need your daily fix of days of our lives? or like me, need to see uncle joe beat osu while travelling in asia on 10/11?

i just bought the slingbox which allows remote tv viewing through the internet on your laptop. yes, yes, i know that most of you don't go on vacation to watch tv that you can watch at home, but a few of us would like to be able to watch some nfl games while in a travel status.

you can also use you laptop at home to view tv in rooms that you don't have a tv. like, i can now watch the pro football game in the kitchen while i am having breakfast.(dw is just overjoyed about this).

this product just came out on thurs. and cost $250. no additional cost, nor monthly fees.

just thought you'd like to know.

it is a Thai movie about a volleyball
championship team from Lampang....all
drag queens...in subtitles...but very well made, funny and lots of recognizable scenery...

ht; i got it at compusa on ala moana. they only had eight. i was the first. it works great.

divediva; where can i get the dvd? are you bringing over some of the famous maui blanc from ulupalakua? i think ht will bring the vella box.

my family always comments that they dont want to "read a movie" tonite...
as in most of my selections have subtitles...

I think I'm about to cry.. I can soon actually not be forced too watch crapy thai variaty shows on my TV.. last week I FINALY got an Broadband line.

I have a mac but since Im such a TV junky I'm willing too buy a cheep PC and ticket to the US. Then I can have acces too about 100 chanels but only watch Discovery chanel and cartoon network..

AAAARGH this sucks.. I cant use the product.. it seems one needs too hook up the machine too internet connection at your home computer..

hombre, you are correct. you need to set this up in conn. thru your router, then you can watch your favorite mickey mouse shows thru your pc from anywhere where you have internet access. maybe pharohs at nana plaza has wifi.
