Warning! Don't use Sinorama Holidays to book a trip to China
Back in May I saw what looked like a good deal for a package deal to China on Travelzoo and Sinorama Holidays, I called the number and went to the website and booked the trip for August. They told me I wouldn't hear back from them till June so I waited and waited with no contact. Finally I called and after several emails where they continually asked me for my booking number (which they had never sent) I got a call. "Sorry, you're not in our system and that trip is all sold out." They told me that they never got the booking or the CC number it in the Montreal office. If this company can't keep up with bookings, what will happen when you are in the middle of China with no hotel reservations or transportation. Beware!

I hope you weren't charged.
The good news: You can visit China on your own, and generally at far lower prices than trying to go with a package tour. Get a few guidebooks, do some research, and come back with your questions! |
Took the sinorama china trip from Miami! Probably one of the best vacations ever! Accommodations were comfortable, tour guide was incredible, Yangtze River cruise was gorgeous! Fellow travelers were wonderful, we became like family. My Doctor boyfriend and myself loved every minute! I wish Sinorama went to more places around the world. I'd book with them, again! You will never ever be able to duplicate what Sinorama could do since Chinese government subsidizes them and that's why it's so unbelievably inexpensive. It was amazing!
