Visit Tiger Cave Temple from Railay?
 

Hi,

I will be in Thailand for 17 days in January 2024. During part of my trip, I would like to visit the province of Krabi. I found a hotel I like very much in Railay (Railay Phutawan Resort) but I know that Railay beach is quite isolated, and you can only reach Ao Nang and Krabi Town by boat. I would still like to visit Tiger Cave Temple, and I'm wondering if it is possible to go there during the day while staying in Railay at night. Would I be better to stay in Ao Nang to have access to this kind of attractions?

I guess my question is : is it easy to go from Railay to Ao Nang/Krabi Town and back in a day, or is it complicated?

It will probably take a couple of hours each way by bus , ferry & taxi . Not especially difficult but unless you are well versed in the vagaries of public transport in Thailand, a tour may be easier. Should be easy enough to find one on arrival through your hotel or elsewhere.
