Cambodia and Vietnam Visas
Will be going to Vietnam and Cambodia via Viking River Cruises and I know that I need visas for both. They offer a service but it costs $450.00. A bit high I think. How do I obtain both of these visas on my own. Thanks for help

Visas Cambodia and Vietnam
Need to have these 2 visas (Vietnam and Cambodia) for the river cruise I am taking next year. How and where do I obtain them Viking offers a service but I think it is a bit expensive and I think I can do it myself at a much lower price. Anyone done this and can offer help. How long is the visa good for? Thanks for any help

Shar, where are you located? We obtained our Vietnamese visa by going in person to the consulate in San Francisco. We were able to obtain our Cambodian visa when we arrived at the border there.

Important info you need to provide when asking questions re visas include:
1. Length of stay in each country. 2. Number of entries. 3.Your nationality 4. Ports of entry However, making certain assumptions, your best and cheapest option is likely to be to apply for evisas for each country: This is the official Vietnam website: https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/we...trang-chu-ttdt and Cambodia https://www.evisa.gov.kh/ Do check the nationality, duration of stay and port of entry requirements on each site. It is a relatively easy process to apply and costs $25 US for Vietnam and (I think) $30 US for Cambodia. A little bit less than the $450 Viking want. I know the Vikings were known for raping and pillaging, but seriously?! You should be good to go with the Vietnam visa with the above If you don’t meet any of the requirements or don’t want to go that way then you can also consider a Visa on Arrival letter for Vietnam , if so. let me know and I will dig out a link to the agency I use. Hope this helps. |
Where do you live? I got my Cambodian Visa online, printed it out. I went to the Vietnamese Consulate in NYC for my Visa but I think it is available upon arrival or online too. Viking fee is outrageous. There are also companies that will get them for you. |
thanks for info
