Visa to different countries

Y'all, the world travelers...
Hope you can help ..

We are traveling from US to 1) Singapore, to 2) Vietnam then to 3) China
We applied Visas from US to VN and China though we are not flying directly from US to VN, nor China. I am hoping our Visas are OK since they state when we will ARRIVE and STAY, LEAVE. I hope it doesn't matter WHERE we are flying FROM (since we are not arriving FROM the US).

I hope I make sense !!

Thanks

PP

A visa is simply permission to enter a country for a certain length of time. It is irrelevant how you get there - flying from the US or from Singapore or wherever makes absolutely no difference.

The only thing to watch for is the entry date on the Vietnamese visa. You cannot enter before this date. In had to delay my entry by a day when I noticed how they had done my visa.

Just to piggyback on to what JPDeM said, we were able to have our Vietnamese visas revised after we changed our arrival dates. We did this at the Embassy in Washington, but if your dates are altered, you may have the option of revising your visa for a fee (I think it was about $25, and the guy literally crossed out one date and put in the new date while I waited).

My experience with all the visas I've gotten is that you just need to provide local contact information within each country, or the travel agent that you've booked anything through.
