Visa processing time
 

Just wanted to alert anyone needing a Myanmar visa from the Embassy in Washington, DC that the processing time is now 15 business days for applications received in October, so give yourself plenty of time if applying in the next few months.

There sure are. I thought I'd have mine back by now, but they said it will not even be processed until next week, which is 3 weeks from the time they received it. That means that I, and others, will be without passports for about a month. It's a good thing I have no travel plans where I would need it for that month.

I am working on my visa application - it says you must have a photo measuring 35mm x 45mm. A passport photo is 51mm x 51mm. Does anyone know if they will accept a passport photo or if you have to get a smaller photo.

I sent them 2 passport size photos for each application, and just got the visas back yesterday, so the size of the photos must have been ok.
