visa for india

do you need a visa for India? and if so how long it takes to obtain the visa?

it depends on what citizenship you hold..

again depending on where you live as to how long it takes...

i think mine took about 2-3 weeks in new york..

I think India requires a visa from just about every country, chances are high that you need one (not knowing your citizenship).

Get your visa before you purchase you airline ticket.

Reply with any new questions.

I'm a US citizen and have gotten three of them in the last two years (the third time I finally go smart and ordered a 10 year visa!). Mailed them in each time and the return ranged from one to three weeks.

From Los Angeles in 2002 I needed to send my passport to the embassy in San Fran, they glued a sheet in it and sent it back to me.
