Visa

Going to Beijing in November. How soon should I apply for a visa? Can this be done on-line? How long of a procedure is this? Thank you for your help.

You should take care of it now.

(I'm assuming that you're traveling with a U.S. passport.) You can get the visa either by applying in person to one of the five or six Chinese consulates in the U.S. that handle visa applications, or you can use an agency that will do it for you (for a fee). The agency will require you to fill out a form (available online) and then send the completed form, your passport, and a photo to them. The process usually takes 1-2 weeks, though you can expedite things for a price.

I've used mychinavisa.com several times and they are reliable, but there are other reliable agencies (and some not-so-reliable) as well.

Hello,

Playing my trip to China to work as a part time English teacher or perhaps doing an internship. What visa advice you can provide?

"What visa advice you can provide?"

First figure out what you'll be doing as different activities require different visas, anywhere.
