Vinh to Phonsavan direct bus
 

Hi is there still a direct bus running from Vinh (Vietnam) to Phonsavan (Laos)? When does it leave and how much is it? I'll be there in late July. How long does the bus take?

I've read about crossing the border another way but I'd rather avoid the hassles and time delays and just take a direct bus.

I'd like to see the Plain of Jars near Phonsavan, it's not just a transit stop. Any info about that would be appreciated too. Thanks!
