Villa suggestions at either Four Seasons in Bali
 

Can anyone recommend which villa to stay in at either Four Seasons in Bali? I have read in other forums that some of the villas are not as private as others or noisier than others. Any suggestions?

If you do a search you should find your answer.<BR><BR>I recall reading a few posts that said that Sayan was more private than Jimbaran.<BR><BR>I'll let you know how Sayan is when I get back in the middle of July.

We stayed at Four Seasons Jimbaram Bay. It deserves its reputation in my opinion. The grounds are divided up into smaller areas or villages, each with its own staff. We stayed in #222 and it was paradise. Quiet, private, and just as described on their website.<BR>We were in our own world.

Hi Lisa,<BR><BR>At Jimbaran Bay we stayed in Villa # 174, but I would try get one on the beach. Avoid the villas that run along the road. <BR><BR>At Sayan, we stayed in Villa #15. It was perfect, right along the river floor. We were previously higher up, but it was very noisy so I asked to be transferred. Ask for the river villas. <BR><BR>Have a wonderful time.

Lisa,<BR> We just stayed at the Four Seasons in Sayan in villa #28. It was very private and was one of the river villas. My friend also went there last year for her honeymoon and warned me to request for a private villa. We did not stay at the FS Jimbaran Bay but was informed by some people we met there that they were not very happy with them and wanted to transfer to the Ritz Carlton (where we were staying). This was not the first time that I have heard this. The villas at the Rtiz are much bigger and you do not get a view of the airport like the FS. I was also informed that the FS villas are not as private. If you stay at the Ritz, do not get tricked into their newer villas (3000 and above). They are definitely not as private as the old ones. I also think the old ones are much nicer. The staff at the Ritz was much more friendly than those at the FS Sayan. The staff at the Ritz were always happy to serve you and did not seem like they were there just to do their job like the FS. We thought everyone there were on happy pills.
