Hi! For anyone still reading this thread. I mentioned back in January that my husband and I will be headed to Corbett for a quick tiger safari. We ended up going in the end of April. It was hot (40C and felt hotter in the sun) and dry and very very dusty. But it was also fantastic! We stayed three nights and did six drives and saw tigers on every drive except for one. Here's a link to a guest blog post I wrote about our trip for Tigerwalah, the agent who arranged our trip.

A word about the lodging. We stayed inside the park at the Dhikala Forest Lodge, a government-run lodge. It was very basic and without AC. In fact, I read in Trip Advisor reviews that the bed sheets and towels were "unwashed" and I got a bit worried. But Tigerwala took care of it by sending new sheets and towels along with our driver for our use. It turned out the the sheets and towels were not unwashed, just old. Despite the basic accommodation, I wouldn't stay outside the park because of its location. We heard animal calls throughout the night and being able to drive right out to the tiger hang-outs first thing in the morning was a great advantage.
