vietnam visa

I applied for pick up on arrival VISA through Vietnamstay. I have the copy of the email letter. There is another name on the letter with ours. This man is arriving on Jan. 10 and we are arriving Jan. 28. Has anyone gotten the letter with other peoples names on it? Just nervous! Thanks

Cruisinred, MichaelBKK or NAGIFFAG any comment? I know you all have gotten the pick up on arrival VISA, does the letter have other people listed on it?

Yes, when I got the letter from Vietnamstay it did include other people's names (which I did find a bit odd, but it must be everyone whose visas got processed that day).
The only thing thing to note, is that you must actually get your put into your passport in a small side office, before proceeding to the usual immigration lines. The office was not well marked and behind a pillar before the immigration lines. I don't think Vietnamstay mentioned this part to me, otherwise than that I found the whole process pretty simple. Have a good trip.

sorry, that should be "get your VISA put into your passport"

If you're arriving in HCMC, the office is on the right hand side of the immigration counters. Easy to find.

Fyi...my daughter and family had e-visa for Viet Nam. It took an extra hour+ at Hanoi airport till they processed them and pasted the visas into their passports. You already have pick-up visa so you must do this procedure, but for people still deciding what to do...get one thru mail in home country and avoid delay and possible confusion. Yes, I know, sometimes there will be no problem or delay at airport, but there are times when you will wait and wait and wait.
