Vietnam -- Taking a Motorcycle or Bicycle on Train
Has anyone ever taken motorcycles or bicycles on a long-distance train in Vietnam, and if so, how does the process work?
My friend and I are experienced motorcycle riders. We are planning on renting motorcycles in Hanoi and riding down to Hoi An. We probably don't have enough time to ride the motorcycles back to Hoi An, so we'd like to take them on a train with us. Any thoughts you could give would be most appreciated.

I saw the same question on Tripadvisor, not sure it is yours or not, but here is my answer.
It is illegal to ride motorbike in Vietnam for non Vietnamese driving license foreigners. But if you aware of it and want to carry on, check the prices at this website:
http://www.vantainamviet.com/bang-gia/
Some Vietnamese words in the website: (xe đạp - bicycle; xe đạp điện: electric bicycle).
Motorcycle, electric bicycle, goods: VND 60/100kg.km.
If you take a motorcycle on the train, remember to take out petrol, just leave a little left inside or take a bottl
