Vietnam-Singapore-Hong Kong Questions
 

Wife and I just returned from Vietnam, Singapore and Hong Kong. Email me if you have questions. Bill

I am just planning a trip from Singapore to Hongkong and then through Vietnam. How long do I need to visit Vietnam to ensure I haven't missed the best? (I planned 20 days:too little or too much?) And I dont necessarily want to stay in Hongkong as my trip to Vietnam starts on the same day I get to Hongkong, so can I zoom through Hongkong in one day or is it worth staying on? Thanks for your advise

Karin: My wife and I spent three enjoyable days in HongKong and found plenty to do. I would advise more than one day in HK.<BR>We spent 6 days in VN but only visited Saigon, Tayninh, and the Mekong Delta. We found the Delta to be very interesting and a "must do". Dear Bill, husband and I are going to Vietnam from Manila. How much are the air tix? Is it better to book a package tour, than touring Vietnam by yourself? If the pkg tour is better, would you recommend contracting one before we get there, or are they easily found once we arrive there. We only have about 10 days, and then return to USA. Was it the language barrier tough? My husband is very much into history,so we are really hoping to visit the war relics and monuments. What are your suggestions?<BR>Thanks!
