Vietnam itinerary
 

I was just wondering if my itinerary looks rushed/or too many days at certain places. We have a total of 9 days.

I was also wondering if anyone has any input on places/areas to stay in halong bay. And advice on things to do in each city would awesome. Thanks !

Day 1 Land in Ha noi for 3N
Day 2 explore Ha noi
Day 3 explore Ha noi
Day 4 train to Nihn bihn 2N
Day 5 explore Nihn bihn
Day 6 bus to Halong bay 3N
Day 7 halong bay
Day 8 halong bay
Day 9 bus back to Ha noi and then have another day exploring Ha noi until 3am flight
Day 10 3am flight back home so not staying the night.

Why are you going to Halong Bay for three nights? And why aren't you spending those nights on a boat?

We are going with another couple that are leaving a day before we are, so not sure on how to make that work with a boat.

Also technically we were thinking of staying on tuan chau and they doing a day trip to ha long bay or staying in bai chay and doing a day trip to ha long. Or staying on cat ba.
