Damn, I missed all the fun!

Wow. I better watch out for nefarious ole Kathie and Kristina! Hahaha...sorry, but that's the most ridiculous thing I've read on here. Talk about putting your foot in your mouth!

Obviously the OP isn't a tout.

response to dogster:

you need to 2 extra passport pictures. one for vietnam and one for cambodia. You also need money to enter VN and enter Cambodia. Also to exit cambodia. they get you both ways! I found that everyone speaks English enough to get by. I learned how to say hello ( and not soup - all in the inflection) but found the language too hard for my american ears. I even met with my friends Vietnamese mother, and just gave up after a while. However, people are super friendly and you can probably start up a wonderful conversation just by asking the hotel staff, waiter or store owner.

Maybe you could read my post a little more carefully, eh?

Start at the top and take it sentence by sentence.

dogster - wha? backatcha. Your posts are bordering on nasty. I think the point of this forum is to ask as many dumb questions as you want because, they may be "dumb" to you, but they are not "dumb" to the person asking.

Dogster is actually sticking up for you and is just saying that he thinks TravelB post's dumb questions and he/she clearly has an axe to grind...
Can feel this thread is going the wrong way so think i will leave it there.
I do however look forward to your Trip report.
