Vietnam Beach at Christmas

Looking for a new place to take a beach vacation at Christmas -- any thoughts on Vietnam -- or really any other SE Asia place at that time of year.

Let's go to Nha Trang, Danang or Hoi An or beach holiday. It will be a bit cold in the North of Vietnam.

Much of SE Asia is great for beaches at Christmas time. Of course, the prices are at their highest then and many places are already booked. I'd look at Thailand, especially the Andaman Sea side, and Malaysia. While it is rainy season in Bali, it's still a lovely time to visit.

We spent Christmas 10 years ago at Pan Thiet. Our first visit to Vietnam. Found it very very interesting and really enjoyed it.

We were in Vietnam for Christmas 2011. Spent several days in Hoi An. While we absolutely loved this town, it was not beach weather so I wouldn't recommend it for your trip.
