Urgent!! HongKong Parkview
Hi fellow fodorites,
I'll be travelling to Hong Kong in 2 days and would like to give my friend staying in HK Parkview a surprise! I'm on a free & easy trip. Can anyone tell me what's the nearest MTR station from Parkview to alight at?? Your fast responses would be greatly appreciated. Thank You. |
Parkview is in a luxury residential complex up in the hills on HK Island. There's no MTR service there. If you want to get there by public transportation, you can take the #6 bus towards Stanley from Central or Wanchai. #6 only. Not 6A, 6X or 260. Parkview is right at Wong Nai Chung Gap, highest point on the route.
Or take MTR to Wanchai or Causeway Bay; then take a taxi from there. |
Thanks, rkkwan!
Where in Wanchai or Central can I take #6 bus?? Are there bus terminus/interchange there?? Or do I look for a random bus-stop?? Does the bus stop right in front of Parkview? Or Parkview easily recognisable?? Or do I have to alight somewhere & walk my way there?? How long is the journey?? So sorry for the barrage of questions. As I'll be all alone, I thought it'd be better to be extra cautious. Regards. |

You can go to www.citybus.com.hk and search for bus route #6. It will list all the stops on the route with detailed description. The one you need to get off is #14 Wong Nai Chung Reservoir Park. Having said that, it's still a hike from the bus stop up to HK Parkview. I am sure HK Parkview has a shuttle van from the city, but I don't know the detail and I don't know if they allow non-residents. I think a taxi would be the best way to get there. |
Cheers, rkkwan!!
Thanks so much. You've been a great help!! :D |
