TROUBLE WITH KINGFISHER AIRLINES

Here's a heads-up. Just saw this on BBC World.

I suggest, if you're thinking of booking flights in India soon, you do a Google search on Kingfisher airlines. Click on 'news'

Here's just one of many, many articles.:

Yes, I'd heard they were in trouble. Real shame, I liked flying them, and they were added to the One World alliance I use.

Back in October when we were there, there were already signs of troubles as we reported. The pilots walked out due to financial problems and flights were cancelled.

What a relief ! It's the AIRLINE, not the beer, that's in trouble

Last I heard IAG, the parent group of BA/Iberia were seeking permission from the Indian government to take an interst and inject capital.

yeah it seems that there is no end to the troubles of cash-strapped kingfisher with bankers insisting that would not pump any more money.

A family member just returned from India and took several king fisher flights. She reported that all were disasters and greatly delayed.
