Trouble contacting Tong Tours in Bangkok
 

Have any of you ever had trouble getting Tong to e-mail you back?
I first inquired about tours a 3-4 weeks ago and within a day I got an e-mail back the next day asking if we had 3 days that we could spend touring with them.
I've replied twice with a run down on what tours we are interested in and haven't been able to get them to reply.
I have read rave reviews of them on this forum and elsewhere so we would really like to use them. Any suggestions?

Obviously I didn't do my homework, seeing now that there are many posts regarding this.

We would still really like to use her and our trip is next month.

I would appreciate any input.

I've read in other similar posts about this kind of problem. I think she's too busy so maybe you should consider calling her if you really want her as a guide.

I had some difficulties as well contacting her recently, but was able to. Sent 1 email on May 3rd, no response so i forwarded the email again on May 8th and got a response the next day. I was able to get enough information and put a deposit down via Paypal for a late june tour. i sent her a follow up email but have had no response. Also, i contacted for a tour with Tong, but was set up with Nang as the guide. Tripadvisor had nothing but positive things to say about Nang, but be careful that you may not be able to specifically get Tong as the guide. Good luck!

i heard from her twice yesterday.... i know she has been busy buying some new property so perhaps has been away...

send it a time or two again...

I resent my e-mail and marked it urgent. Thank you for your assistance.

Others have also had trouble from time to time; apparently the communication issues usually get resolved.

They did. Once I marked the e-mail Urgent, I heard back from her right away. Thank you for your help.

no problem... i would not forward things to her if i did not feel that she is the best guide we have ever had... and a really nice person too
