Can anyone recommend somewhere safe and clean in Trivandrum.We are females arriving late at night .<BR>Thanks

A few years ago when I lived in India, I travelled frequently to Trivandrum for work, and stayed at a good, safe, 3-4 star type hotel called the South Park. It was located at the centre of town and was very convenient. Wasn't very expensive. Do a web search or email a lady called Bibaina who is a regular on this board and lives in Trivandrum.

There is a gorgeous little guesthouse on a private beach/lagoon which is not far from Trivandrum. they can pick you up from the airport in the middle of the night and take you to the hotel - part of the journey is by gondola on the backwaters (under moonlight it's wonderful). you can read our detailed review on http://www.i-escape.com/lagoonadavina.php

Hi<BR>U can stay at South park, or Somatheeram beach resort, Make sure you arrange cab transfer from the airport / train station to the hotel.
