Welcome back, Katie. I'm back lurking on the Asia board after an interlude over on the African forum. I just discovered Lcuy's 2011 Cambodian Odyssey, which has inspired me to return to Siem Reap and spend two weeks + volunteering for Ponheary's foundation, theplf.org Although a portion of the report was technically written in 2012, it made me want to drop everything and go help those kids.

The report that really grabbed my attention and kept me constantly checking for the next installment was NatureGirl's SriLanka tr.
This is the only one that has truly "inspired" me to plan my next trip.

I know there are many missing off the list of course! Thanks for sharing your favorites. 2011 was a well traveled year by this forum.
