Trekking in India

What are some good groups to go with, if I am looking for a trek in Wayanad? Can't seem to find one off the internet, but I know anecdotally that it is a madly popular destination for hikers so surely there's someone running treks there...?

Try Muddy Boots. They used to be a small local company, but have now expanded and organize activities for many of the Taj hotels . Their website lists some of their Wayanad tours.
One of their (former?) guides named Anwer works now at the fantastic Pranavam Homestay in the Wayanad. You can see my review (under state name) on tripadvisor.
LOL (another thread you started) re you driving in India! A brave soul!! The roads in the Wayanad district are VERY winding, so better to be the driver than the passenger if you're at all prone to carsickness nausea.

Adventure India and GIO Adventures both are the most popular Adventure Trekking groups in India. You should try one of them only.

Contact Pranavam homestay (we too stayed there) and ask about trekking possibilities. Our guide there (was it Anwar???) is starting a small, local trekking company there. He/they used to be affiliated with Muddy Boots.
